The Golfzon China Open, China’s largest screen-golf tournament, went live with Intinor powering the event’s video transport backbone. Hosted at Golfzon City Golf in Tianjin, the four-day indoor tournament combines high-fidelity golf simulators for long shots with real on-site greens for putting and chipping. The Challenge
Due to bandwidth limitations, the production team could only transmit a single PGM feed out of China using a third-party live streaming encoder already deployed on site. With no redundancy path available, the challenge was to ensure that this high-value feed could be received and decoded reliably, with minimal latency and without compatibility issues. The workflow required a proven decoder platform with reliable interoperability and predictable performance over a long-distance network.
The Solution
Golfzon’s broadcast partner Mediacan, together with Intinor reseller Hanter Network, selected Intinor for the second year in a row based on its proven track record in multi-vendor interoperability and stable decoding of third-party encoder streams. Using Intinor Direkt receivers, Intinor delivered a stable and predictable decoding solution that securely received the single PGM stream over one SRT connection, without requiring changes to the existing encoder infrastructure.
