Intinor and Bambuser signs agreement about live video

A new collaboration between Intinor and the live video service Bambuser will make it easier to broadcast video live over Internet.

INTINOR has developed equipment that can compress and broadcast high quality video over the internet. In order to get a complete movable solution, the equipment is put together with batteries and transmitters in a backpack that can be rented or bought. The company’s equipment has been used in live broadcasts from e-sport events, Melodifestivalen, Rockbjörnen, Champions League, Parliamentary elections and other events.

The new two-year agreement allows INTINOR to offer their customers a direct link to Bambuser’s Iris platform that facilitates users to connect live video to their own apps.

Bambuser was founded as a startup company in 2007. One of the founders, Måns Adler, has lectured several times in Umeå under the direction of Infotech Umeå and Uminova Innovation.

During their first years, Bambuser was mentioned in connection with the so-called Arab spring when demonstrators in Egypt, for example, broadcasted films live with their mobile phones. Since then, the company has grown and listed in Swedish stockmarket in May 2017. In other words, it’s a strong company that Intinor has signed an agreement with.

– Bambuser’s Iris platform is very reliable and user-friendly. It represents a perfect complement to our products, says Roland Axelsson, CEO of Intinor.

“We know that our Iris platform is an extremely strong mobile platform for technology providers. For this reason Intinor is the perfect business partner for us”, says Hans Eriksson, CEO of Bambuser.
